For the past 20 years, I have maintained a home in Jemez Springs, N.M. as well as in Trabuco Canyon, California. Jemez Springs is a haven for me to transcend daily pressures and experience peace in a place where a slower pace invites reflection and creativity. I am a mostly self taught artist expressing my creative spirit by experimenting with watercolor, acrylic, pastel, and oil painting. Seeking out different subjects, via landscapes, still life, flowers, portraits, and animals, allows me to explore different ways of painting. My style is still expanding and evolving. I identify with the following, “I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it.” Picasso. I find inspiration in the mountains, canyons, and river that surround my home in New Mexico, the ocean vistas of California, and the landscapes of Italy and France. My artwork reflects a quiet sensibility and a love of beauty and nature. Please visit my website.
